RGCCISD Grulla High School Cheerleaders kicked off their year by participating in the New Teacher Orientation held on August 12, 2010. The squad showed their Gator spirit by performing a few cheers for the crowd. The cheerleaders participate in various events throughout the school year and are currently preparing for the 2010 Football Season. The squad is under the direction of Rosie Chapa.

New Classroom Teachers

The Rio Grande City CISD welcomed the new educators to the district at the New Teacher Orientation on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Multi-Purpose Center. They were greeted with some real school spirit. A presentation made by both high school cheerleaders and mariachi showcased their talents at this event. The district will rally for the first time behind two teams which include the RGCCISD Grulla High School Gators and the Rio Grande City High School Rattlers. A total of 59 new teachers joined the Rio Grande City CISD family that will welcome students into their classrooms on Monday, August 23, 2010
