Reading The Mysterious Tadpole Lesson 26: Wk1 Target Vocabulary
1. confused- unable to understand what is happening. 2. sensible- showing good judgment. 3. upset- mad, unhappy, or worried. 4. control- the power to make things happen the way you want them to. 5. suspiciously- in a way that shows you do not trust someone or something. 6. training- the process of being taught something or of preparing for something. 7. cage- an enclosure made with wire or bars meant to keep something inside of it or out. 8. ordinary- average or common, not special.

1. exact- right on; completely correct. 2. amazed- to be very surprised. 3. remove- to take away. 4. growled- made a long, deep, angry sound with the throat. 5. guard- a person who watches over or protects something or someone. 6. discovered- to have found out something you didn’t know before. 7. explained- to have told someone about something so that they understand it. 8. souvenirs- things that remind you of a place you visited or an experience you had.
