Office of Human Resources
The Office of Human Resources facilitates the recruiting, screening, and selecting of teachers and support staff for the District by monitoring unfilled positions, developing a recruiting schedule, collecting input from principals on staffing needs, preparing recruiting materials, and participating in recruiting activities.

This office also serves approximately 1,937 employees consisting of 736 teachers, 160 professional support staff including administrators, 546 paraprofessionals including 215 instructional aides, and 495 auxiliary workers. The Office of Human Resources oversees salary administration, processes employee complaints and greivances, reviews and develops personnel policies, manages all school district policies, monitors the evaluation and recommendation process by distributing evaluation materials and establishing timelines, oversees the processing of teacher and paraprofessional certificates, manages the approved substitute teacher list, and maintains personnel records.

In addition, the Office of Human Resources holds the New Teacher Orientation at the beginning of the school year and the Annual Recgonition Banquet at the end of the school year.

The Office of Human Resources abides with rulemaking bodies by ensuring equal employment opportunity implementation and following State Board for Educator Certification and No Child Left Behind guidelines.
