.........The Office of Public Relations focuses on communicating effectively to all students, parents, and staff the achievements of our district through various forms of media. The department through a district-wide public relations effort produces publications, news releases and advertisements in a timely, reliable, and accurate manner.

..........Public relations improves the quality and effectiveness of the district's communications projects and programs. Through these services and strategies the Rio Grande City CISD can achieve beneficial relationships with individuals and organizations that are vital for its development.

........The Office of Public Relations is responsible for:

• Disseminating information about the district to the public through the press, radio, television, special interest publications and community agencies

• Answering of queries from news media

• Coordinating, planning and producing school district publications and printed materials

• Assisting in planning, promoting, and publicizing of all special events
