Algebra 1 is an introduction to high school math. It introduces the concept of a function, understanding linear equations and graphs, slope, y-intercept, and solving equations. Algebra 1 is a foundational course in high school mathematics!

A little bit about me...

I was formerly an assistant sophomore basketball coach for a very short time for the 2009-2010 season. The high school no longer competes in the 5-A League.
I grew up in Los Angeles, CA and attended Amherst College. I received a BA in Economics in 2008. Currently a teacher through the Teach for America program.
I also like pistachios, reading interesting novels, and long walks on the beach.
