Safety/Risk Management and Workers' Compensation Program:

Student Services Risk Management Department is responsible for evaluating, minimizing and controlling the Rio Grande City's CISD loss or damage to physical assets, fidelity losses and losses arising out of liability claims.

The Risk Management Department is also responsible for maximizing the safety of our campus to give our children and employees the safest possible environment. We are also responsible for identifying, evaluating controlling  and minimizing the District's exposure to injury of workers and workplaces.

We will work to investigate and resolve worker's compensation claims and coordinate with supervisors to make our best efforts to help District's employees on Modified and/or return-to -work status. We will also manage claims to achieve quality results and expense control to minimize the school district's exposure.

Student Services Worker's Compensation department acts as a mediator between our district's employees and our third party administrator. Employees can find answers to any questions or concerns they have if they have suffered an injury at work.
